About the Role :
The Revenue Controller will lead a team of city revenue controllers and serve
as the senior finance manager responsible for driving revenue governance, audit,
business partnering, collections, and stakeholder management across multiple
cities / projects at Livspace.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and supervise the city-level revenue controller team ensuring
consistent revenue realization, financial discipline, and compliance with
internal controls and project policies.
Oversee end-to-end revenue accounting, collections, order-to-cash process,
and project closure governance across all cities under management.
Own and drive the audit readiness of city revenue operations—ensure
accuracy, fairness, and compliance in financial and project reporting.
Engage closely with business leaders, city heads, sales, operations, and
central finance to drive revenue drive initiatives, support customer
engagement, and act swiftly on project escalations or risk areas.
Ensure timely communication and resolution of project delays, refunds,
cancellations, and descoping, and enforce discipline in documentation,
closure, and customer communication.
Provide deep insights into business performance, trends, bottlenecks, and
risks through rigorous reporting and analytics to management.
Create and drive process improvements and best practices around project
monitoring, validation, quality checks, and financial approval mechanisms at
the city and central level.
Drive training, performance review, and career development for the city
revenue controller team.
Requirements
MBA / CA / ICWA (Mandatory)
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in revenue accounting, collections, audit,
business finance, and strong business engagement / stakeholder
management, ideally in high-volume, project-based or service industries.
Proven ability to drive performance, manage multidisciplinary teams, and
handle complex business scenarios.
Expertise in revenue recognition, collection processes, internal controls, and
risk management.
Impeccable communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability
to influence across functional teams and levels.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and analytics (SQL desirable).
This Revenue Controller (Senior Manager) will report into the Finance
Leadership, building and leading a high-performing city controller team, and will be a
key partner in city-level project closure and revenue realisation at Livspace.
