Senior Business Analyst – Data Management _Business process modelling (BPMN )

Experience 10+ years

Work mode : Hybrid. (2-3 days in office)

Timings UK : 1pm to 9 pm ( Indian time )

Location : Bangalore

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Financial Services and Data Management to lead client engagements focused on designing and implementing data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Lead workshops with business stakeholders to capture current-state data challenges and define future-state solutions.

  • Tools / Deliverables :
  • As-Is vs To-Be Process Mapping (BPMN diagrams in tools like Visio,drawio, Signavio, Lucidchart, ARIS)
  • Gap Analysis Document
  • Value Stream Mapping
  • Gather, Analyse, and document business and data requirements. like FRD , BRD etc
  • Create and maintain technical documentation using Confluence.
  • Develop and manage product backlogs, lead sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Define conceptual, logical, and physical data models in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Conduct value stream analysis and track expected business outcomes.
  • Proactively engage stakeholders to clarify requirements and drive initiatives forward.

Requirements

Mandatory

  • Previous experience working with Financial Services.
  • Business Process Modelling (BPMN) :
  • Target Operating Model (TOM) – Understand current operations ( “As-Is” model) and design future-state (“To-Be” model).
  • Business Process documentation defining Target Operating Models using tools such as Visio and Draw.io. or similar tools.
  • Value Stream Analysis / Mapping using Lean Six Sigma and SAFe methodologies.
  • Business Process Analysis.
  • Experience using Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies : Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, PMI .
  • Strong stakeholder management skills in high-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and team oriented.
  • Basic knowledge of ETL tools and concepts, Data Management , Data Governance , and Data Quality.
  • Experience implementing data platforms such as Data Lakes or Data Warehouses.
  • SQL knowledge.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Data, Business Intelligence / Analytics, and Data Warehousing.

  • Business Process Modelling : V isio, Lucid chart, Miro, iGrafx, Draw.io. or similar tools
  • Project Documentation & Collaboration : Confluence, Excel, JIRA.
  • Methodologies : Lean Six Sigma, SAFe, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, PMI.
  • Data Tools : SQL, ETL tools (basic knowledge).
