Job description

Supervise the operation of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), Reverse Osmosis (RO) system, Stripper, Multi Effect Evaporator, and Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) Plant.

Manage hazardous waste generated from both process and non-process areas, ensuring proper handling, storage, and disposal.

Oversee the operation of the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB) XGN (likely an online monitoring or data submission) system.

Adjust the shift manpower allocation as instructed by the Assistant Manager.

Continuously follow up on maintenance work for the ETP, STP, RO system, Stripper, Multi Effect Evaporator, and Incinerator Plant.

Conduct regular rounds in the production area to identify and implement measures to reduce unwanted wastewater generation.

Report all observations regarding operational activities to the Assistant Manager.

Conduct Plant Safety Inspections, ensure execution of safety protocols, and initiate work permits as required.

Provide necessary assistance and data for compliance matters related to the Gujarat Pollution Control Board (GPCB).
