General Manager – Facilities

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and strategic facility management professional to lead operations for our premium multiple managed office spaces in Bangalore.
The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership with deep operational expertise to deliver seamless, high-quality facility experiences for clients and tenants.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic & Operational Leadership
Develop and execute facility management strategies aligned with business goals.
Drive operational excellence, process efficiency, and service quality across all sites in Bangalore.
Implement best practices to ensure smooth, cost-effective operations.
Team Management
Lead and motivate a team of facility managers, engineers, and support staff.
Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Vendor & Partner Management
Oversee selection, negotiation, and performance of vendors and service partners.
Ensure adherence to service level agreements and company standards.
Budget & Financial Oversight
Prepare and manage annual facility budgets.
Monitor expenditures and identify opportunities to optimize costs without compromising quality.
Maintenance & Operations
Implement preventive maintenance programs and manage repairs, upgrades, and daily operations.
Ensure all building systems and assets are functioning efficiently and safely.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, and environmental regulations.
Promote a culture of safety and ensure a secure environment for occupants and staff.
Tenant & Client Relations
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenant concerns and operational issues.
Proactively address client needs to ensure exceptional service experiences.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate operational records and generate periodic reports on facility performance
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree . MBA preferred.
12+ years of progressive experience in facility management, preferably within commercial real estate or managed office environments.
Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex facility operations.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of facility budgeting.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in facility management software and MS Office tools.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Workplace
Up-to-date knowledge of facility management trends, technologies, and sustainability practices.
Willingness to manage multiple sites within Bangalore city.
