Description

The Associate Professor of Ophthalmology will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students, conducting research, and providing exceptional patient care. This role requires a commitment to education and the advancement of the field of ophthalmology.

Location - Adoor(Kerala)

Responsibilities

Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in ophthalmology.
Conduct and supervise clinical research in the field of ophthalmology.
Participate in departmental and university committees.
Provide high-quality patient care in the ophthalmology clinic and operating room.
Stay updated with advancements in ophthalmology and integrate them into teaching and practice.

Skills and Qualifications

MD or MS in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution.

4-10 years of experience in clinical practice and teaching.

Strong clinical skills in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases.

Experience in conducting research and publishing in peer-reviewed journals.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Fellowship training in a subspecialty of ophthalmology is preferred.
