Role Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Azure Data Engineer to join our data team in the UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineers to ensure robust data pipelines and infrastructure that support our business intelligence and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Databricks.
• Develop and manage data lakes and data warehouses on Azure.
• Ensure high performance, availability, and reliability of data systems.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources using Azure services.
• Implement and enforce data governance, data quality, and data security practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data engineering solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues related to data workflows and storage.
• Automate data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes.
• Maintain documentation related to data models, processes, and infrastructure.
