About the Role
The Product Specialist - Investments will be responsible for driving product strategy, enabling sales teams, and enhancing client experience through deep product knowledge and market insights. This role demands strong collaboration across internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless product delivery and positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Enablement & Support
- .Train and enable sales teams and relationship managers to drive product adoption.
- .Conduct product workshops, presentations, and client meetings to support sales closures.
Market & Competitor Intelligence
.Analyze competitor offerings, pricing, and positioning continuously..Provide actionable insights for product differentiation..Gather feedback from sales teams, RMs, and clients to refine product features..Collaborate with product / strategy teams to develop new product ideas.Portfolio Reviews
.Support client portfolio reviews with product insights..Offer tailored recommendations aligned with client needs.AMC / Partner Engagement
.Conduct quarterly product reviews with AMC partners..Participate in new fund launches and exclusive tie-ups..Co-host investor events with fund managers.Product Strategy & Engagement
.Identify product shelf gaps and new opportunities..Track performance across investment strategies..Translate house views into client-ready notes for internal circulation..Share tactical calls across equity, debt, and alternative investments..Publish quarterly sector and product insights.Customer Experience & Retention
.Address client queries and escalations related to products..Ensure right-fit product recommendations to enhance client satisfaction.Risk & Compliance Adherence
.Ensure all product pitches and communications comply with regulatory norms..Promote awareness of risk disclosures among internal teams and clients.MIS, Analytics & Reporting
.Track product performance, client penetration, and AUM growth..Provide regular dashboards and reports on product KPIs to management.Collaboration with Internal Teams
.Liaise with operations, channel, research, and compliance teams for seamless product delivery..Ensure training materials, marketing collaterals, and MIS are updated..Conduct quarterly RM trainings.Qualifications
Optimal qualification for success on the job is :
.Educational Qualification : Postgraduate (MBA / CA / CFA / CFP preferred).Industry Background : Prior experience in Investment Products (Mutual Funds, PMS, Alternate Investments, Bonds) - either in research, sales or product management.Overall experience of up to 12 years in financial markets including debt, equity, mutual fund AMCs, etc. or in asset allocation and investment management of HNI customersRole Proficiencies :
