Job Title : Business Development Manager – Financial Services

Experience : 2-5 years (preferred in NBFC / Financial Services domain)

Industry : Financial Services / Lending Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a high-performing and strategic Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, close high-value deals, and lead a sales team in the financial services space. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of financial products such as Business Loans, Loan Against Property (LAP), Lease Rental Discounting (LRD), Agri Loans, Construction Finance, Trade Finance, Textile Funding, Logistics Finance, and related solutions.

This is a leadership role for a dynamic, result-oriented professional who can generate business, build lasting client relationships, and nurture a high-performance sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Client Acquisition

Identify, approach, and onboard high-value clients and businesses.

Develop strategic partnerships and referral networks to drive consistent lead flow.

Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to achieve monthly / quarterly revenue targets.

Deal Closure & Revenue Generation

Conduct impactful business meetings with decision-makers and CXOs.

Present customised financial solutions, negotiate terms, and close deals effectively.

Oversee seamless execution of loan applications, documentation, and disbursements.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

Manage and mentor a team of Business Development Executives.

Define clear sales targets, monitor progress, and drive accountability.

Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback.

Market Research & Strategy

Track market trends, competitor activities, and client needs.

Develop and implement strategic business plans for growth.

Identify opportunities for new product launches or segment expansion.

Client Relationship Management

Maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business.

Deliver exceptional client service and post-sales support.

Build brand reputation through trust, reliability, and consistent delivery.

Desired Candidate Profile

Proven track record in business development and revenue generation in financial services.

Strong network with CAs, loan consultants, corporates, SMEs, and HNIs.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Prior experience in team handling and sales leadership.

Ability to thrive in a target-driven, fast-paced environment.

MBA / PGDM in Finance / Marketing (preferred).
