Senior Software Engineer

About the Role

The successful candidate will : Be technically opinionated, with demonstrated adherence to best practices in software engineering including appropriate use of abstraction, testing, usability, and version control to create sustainable and reusable software. Collaboratively and pragmatically solve scientific software engineering challenges encountered at the forefront of quantifying test article effects. Collaborate with local and offshore engineering teams to support your software development efforts.

Requirements 'must have' :

• 5+ years experience developing tools for data analysis
• Python (Flask / Django)
• Frontend development (JavaScript, React)
• REST and GraphQL API experience Source code management
• RDBMS / NoSQL (Postgres, MongoDB)
• GCP \ AWS
• Familiarity with High Performance Computing (HPC) Systems
• Experience supporting data science activities using FAIR data management and reproducible practices
