AIF Compliance Officer

Role Overview

The AIF Compliance Officer will be responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance for all AIF schemes managed/advised by SKI Capital, ensuring adherence to SEBI regulations, trustee requirements, reporting obligations and internal governance standards.

This role will work closely with the Investment Team, Trustees, Custodians, Legal Advisors and SEBI.

Key ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with SEBI (Alternative Investment Funds) Regulations, 2012
• Monitor adherence to investment conditions, concentration norms and leverage limits
• Oversee filing of quarterly/annual reports on SEBI Intermediary Portal
• Manage regulatory filings including:
• PPM updates
• Scheme filings
• Material change intimations
• Performance reporting

Trustee & Governance Coordination

• Coordinate with Trustees for compliance certificates and reporting
• Facilitate Trustee meetings and ensure documentation of minutes
• Maintain compliance tracker for ongoing regulatory obligations

Audit & Reporting

• Coordinate annual audit, tax audit, and compliance audit
• Liaise with custodians and fund administrators
• Ensure proper maintenance of statutory records and registers

Investor & Operational Compliance

• Oversee drawdown documentation and capital call compliance
• Ensure adherence to PPM disclosures
• Review investor onboarding documentation (KYC/AML)
• Monitor compliance of valuation policies
• Investor & Operational Compliance
• Develop and strengthen internal compliance frameworks
• Maintain compliance manuals and SOPs
• Conduct periodic internal reviews and compliance testing

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualified Company Secretary (CS) / LLB / CA preferred

3–7 years of experience in:

• AIF compliance
• SEBI-regulated entities
• Merchant banking compliance (preferred)

Strong understanding of:

• SEBI AIF Regulations
• PMLA & AML norms
• FEMA compliance (where applicable)
• Experience interacting with Trustees and SEBI
