Purpose of Position
Palladium India is welcoming applications for our HR Internship Program.
The HR Intern will support the HR team and the Human Resources Manager - to implement HR services, programs, and activities in support of the Palladium India Business.
Primary responsibilities
The primary responsibilities are to :
- Support HR team in database management.
- Support recruitment processes.
- Support HR Manager to complete due diligence process for all selected candidates and ensure all staff engaged fulfil Palladium requirements (child protection policy, reference checks, code of conduct etc.)
- Support in staff preboarding and onboarding, staff performance management, and off-boarding process.
- Maintain up to date records of HR and recruitment files.
- Interview scheduling.
- Sourcing CVs from job portals and LinkedIn.
- Desk research and brainstorming for employee engagement activities.
- Other duties as may be required by Manager, consistent with the incumbent’s role.
- Payroll Reporting : Assisting in preparing payroll reports for management, HR, and accounting purposes, including payroll summaries, tax filings, and other financial reports.
- Conducting research and analysis on payroll-related issues, such as discrepancies in pay, payroll trends, or changes in payroll laws, to support decision-making and process improvement efforts.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality of payroll information and adhering to company policies and procedures regarding data protection and privacy.
- Creating PAFs / Expense Claims. Assist in processing employee expense reports by reviewing submitted expenses, ensuring they comply with company policies and procedures, and accurately recording them in the expense management system.
- Conducting research on financial topics, industry trends, and competitor analysis to provide insights and recommendations for strategic planning and decision-making.
Reporting requirements
The role reports to the Human Resources Manager, India.
