About the Role
We are hiring an experienced Platform Development Engineer to join a fast-growing technology company building next-generation AI / ML infrastructure solutions for large-scale performance computing and streaming platforms. The role involves working at the intersection of hardware and software — designing and developing high-performance device drivers, SDKs, and microcode to power innovative products that push the limits of data and compute performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop device drivers for new ASICs and off-the-shelf silicon.
- Perform board bring-up, validation , and hardware-software integration for new products.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Develop diagnostic tools and manufacturing test software for hardware validation.
- Optimize embedded software for performance, reliability, and scalability .
- Debug Linux kernel and hardware-level issues using lab instruments and tools (JTAG, KGDB, etc.).
- Contribute to defining hardware operation and interfacing with product team
Required Skills & Experience
7–15 years of experience in embedded software, hardware bring-up , and system validation.Expertise in C / C++ or similar high-performance languages.Hands-on experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS) and embedded systems.Strong understanding of buses and protocols : I2C, UART, SPI, PCIe.Proven track record working with complex ASICs and embedded platforms.Experience developing and supporting manufacturing test diagnostics .Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills across hardware and software boundaries.Why Join
