Job description

Job Title : Laravel Developer

Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled and resourceful Laravel Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Laravel, PHP, and MySQL, with a passion for building robust and scalable web applications. You will be responsible for both backend and some frontend development tasks, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel and PHP.
  • Implement new features, improve existing functionality, and ensure application performance and responsiveness.
  • Write clean, secure, and well-documented code following Laravel best practices.
  • Work closely with business analysts or stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
  • Maintain and manage MySQL databases including design, queries, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers on UI / UX implementation using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Document technical specifications and development processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on the Laravel framework.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and MVC architecture.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (Vue.js experience is a plus).
  • Experience working with MySQL databases, including complex queries and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

    • Nice to Have

  • Experience with Laravel Livewire, Inertia.js, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like PHPUnit or Pest.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI / CD pipelines, or cloud hosting (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean).
  • Basic understanding of data analysis or business intelligence tools.
