We are seeking a skilled and proactive Google Workspace Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting our Google Workspace environment, while also providing workstation support across macOS, Windows, and (ideally) Linux systems. The role requires experience with both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace administration, along with cloud infrastructure knowledge in AWS and Azure. Experience with mobile device management (MDM) platforms such as JumpCloud and Intune is also essential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer and manage Google Workspace environment (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Groups, Admin Console, etc.).
- Support and administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
- Provide workstation support for macOS and Windows devices; Linux experience is a strong plus.
- Handle user provisioning / deprovisioning, group policies, and access controls across systems.
- Manage and configure Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms primarily JumpCloud and Microsoft Intune .
- Create, configure, and maintain virtual machines (VMs) in both AWS and Azure environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the cloud platforms and local device endpoints.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to enforce security policies and best practices.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and processes.
- Provide Tier 2 / 3 support for escalated IT issues.
Qualifications : Required :
3+ years of experience administering Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments.Strong knowledge of macOS and Windows workstation support.Experience with JumpCloud and Microsoft Intune MDM platforms.Hands-on experience creating and managing VMs in AWS and Azure.Familiarity with identity and access management, directory services, and SSO.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Preferred :
Experience supporting Linux systems (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.).Google Workspace Administrator or Microsoft 365 certifications.Experience with scripting (Bash, PowerShell, etc.).Familiarity with ITIL best practices and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk).(ref : hirist.tech)
