Role Overview :
Dhruva Space is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer (Image Processing) to develop and implement advanced image processing algorithms for satellite imagery and geospatial data. The role involves working with GIS tools, analyzing satellite images, and integrating image processing solutions into larger systems. The ideal candidate should be highly analytical, proficient in programming, and capable of implementing concepts from research papers to enhance image processing workflows.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and optimize image processing algorithms for satellite and geospatial data.
- Utilize GDAL utilities and GIS tools for spatial data processing and analysis.
- Perform image enhancement, segmentation, and feature extraction on satellite imagery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate image processing solutions into larger systems.
- Research and implement new image processing techniques from academic literature.
- Optimize image processing workflows for improved efficiency.
- Maintain and develop Python / C-based tools for automation and geospatial data processing.
Candidate Requirements :
Experience in image processing, GIS, and satellite image analysis.Proficiency in GDAL utilities for geospatial data handling.Strong analytical skills and understanding of image processing concepts.Solid programming skills in Python and / or C.Familiarity with linear algebra and its applications in image processing.Ability to learn and implement concepts from research papers.Strong problem-solving and code optimization skills.Experience with machine learning algorithms for image analysis.Familiarity with cloud-based image processing platforms and tools.
