Key Responsibilities :
D evelop and implement recruitment strategies : Create and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies aligned with NCDOE s strategic goals to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the organization.
Manage the recruitment process : Oversee the entire recruitment process from job posting to joining. Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements, screen resumes and conduct initial interviews. Collaborate with Central HR team for onboarding, panel interview calendar, employee records & file management etc.
Sourcing and candidate assessment : Proactively source and identify potential candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and employee referrals.
Review resumes and applications, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates qualifications, skills, and cultural fit. Coordinate and facilitate interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
Compliance & Policies : Ensure recruitment practices comply with university policies, employment laws, and regulations. Stay informed about trends in higher education recruitment and update practices accordingly.
Candidate experience : Provide a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Communicate effectively with candidates, keep them informed about their application status, and address their inquiries in a timely manner. Enhance the companys employer brand by promoting its values, culture, and opportunities to potential candidates.
Onboarding- Own New Hire Assimilation process, prepare & implement induction plan to ensure seamless joining experience, simultaneously work closely with line managers to ensure they understand induction responsibilities and requirements for new hires.
Data analysis and reporting : Track and analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of sourcing strategies and make data-driven decisions. Prepare regular reports and presentations on recruitment activities, including key performance indicators, time-to-fill, and quality of hires.
HR Ops : Collect and verify employee attendance, timesheets, or other relevant data for accurate payroll processing. Support the performance management process; facilitate Contract Renewal, Goal Setting & Annual appraisal process in NCDOE. Act as a SPOC for Events, Festival, and other celebrations; facilitate event management in collaboration with admin team.
