Accounting Intern

Job descriptionBasic knowledge of Accounting Principles and MS Excel . Familiarity with Tally ERP, Zoho Books , or similar accounting software (preferred). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under supervision. B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) pursuing or recently graduated. Available for at least 6 months of internship duration.
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to join our finance team. This role is ideal for B.Com students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. You will work closely with the accounts department and assist in day-to-day financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in data entry, bookkeeping, and maintaining ledgers .
- Help in preparing invoices, receipts, and vouchers .
- Support in bank reconciliation and expense tracking .
- Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings .
- Verify and organize bills, purchase orders, and supporting documents .
- Help prepare monthly reports , such as profit & loss and balance sheets.
- Maintain accurate and timely financial records in Tally ERP / Zoho Books / Excel .
- Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for payment follow-ups.
