About the Role
We are looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager who will own user communication across CleverTap and other marketing channels. This role is a mix of creative messaging and data-driven execution — you will be responsible for building automated journeys, planning targeted campaigns, and driving user engagement, retention, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Planning & Execution : Design and execute lifecycle campaigns across push, email, in-app, and SMS using CleverTap.
- Journey Creation : Build automated user journeys for onboarding, engagement, churn prevention, and reactivation.
- Segmentation & Personalization : Identify key user segments, behaviors, and triggers to deliver personalized communication.
- Creative Messaging : Craft engaging, conversion-focused copy that resonates with users.
- Experimentation & Optimization : Run A / B tests on messaging, creatives, and user flows to improve performance.
- Data-Driven Insights : Track, analyze, and report on campaign effectiveness (CTR, conversion, retention).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with product, growth, and design teams to ensure consistent communication.
Required Skills & Experience
2–5 years of experience in lifecycle / CRM / retention marketing .Hands-on experience with CleverTap (or similar tools like MoEngage, Braze, WebEngage).Strong understanding of user segmentation, funnels, and retention strategies .Excellent communication & copywriting skills with a creative mindset.Analytical ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns.Experience with A / B testing and campaign performance tracking.Nice to Have
Prior experience in edtech / consumer internet products .Familiarity with growth frameworks (activation, engagement, retention, referral).Comfort with basic HTML / CSS for email templates.
