Cloud Architect System & Security Administrator

We are seeking an Intermediate Cloud Architect / System & Security Administrator to design manage and secure Snipps cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. This role combines cloud operations system administration and security management to ensure our environments remain stable cost-efficient and compliant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Design deploy and maintain AWS and Azure infrastructure.
• Manage Windows and Linux systems IIS deployments and MS SQL databases.
• Configure and monitor firewalls VPNs and SSL / TLS.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems (e.g. CloudWatch Azure Monitor New Relic Nagios).
• Conduct security audits vulnerability scans and apply remediations. Manage IAM Azure AD and access controls across environments.
• Handle system backups disaster recovery and incident response.
• Monitor and optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
• Provide limited after-hours support for critical issues.

Required Skills :

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : 36 years in cloud or system administration roles. Strong experience with AWS (EC2 S3 RDS VPC IAM) and Azure (VMs App Services SQL Blob Storage Azure AD). Knowledge of networking (TCP / IP DNS VPNs firewalls load balancers). Hands-on experience with IIS MS SQL and scripting (Bash PowerShell or Python). Understanding of security practices backups and compliance requirements. Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Experience with Sophos UTM Jira New Relic or Nagios. Familiarity with Terraform CloudFormation or CI / CD pipelines. Knowledge of containerization (Docker Kubernetes).
