Job Description

• Surgical Procedures :

○ Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) : Restoring blood flow to the heart.

○ Aortic Aneurysm Repair : Repairing or replacing an aortic aneurysm using a graft.

○ Valve Replacement Surgery : Replacing malfunctioning heart valves with prosthetic ones.

○ Heart Transplant : Replacing a diseased heart with a donor’s heart.

○ Lung Lobectomy : Removing a lobe of the lung, often for cancer.

○ Carotid Endarterectomy : Removing plaque from the carotid artery to prevent stroke.

○ Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy : Removing blood clots from lungs for chronic embolism.

○ Preoperative evaluations and discussions with patients and families.

○ Postoperative care in intensive care units (ICUs).

○ Participating in multidisciplinary meetings for complex cases.
