Job Description : Responsibilities :

Execute test cases for functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing across web and API layers.
Understand product requirements and convert them into test scenarios and test cases.
Identify, log, and track bugs to resolution using defect management tools like JIRA.
Collaborate with developers and QA leads to reproduce, isolate, and debug issues.
Validate API responses using tools like Postman or Swagger.
Contribute to test reports and quality metrics documentation.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Coordinate with peers to ensure timely and quality releases.

Requirements :

2+ years of experience in manual testing of web and / or API-based applications.

Basic knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.

Familiarity with defect tracking and test case management tools (e. g., JIRA)

Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.

Understanding of browser developer tools for debugging UI issues.

Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to take ownership of quality for assigned modules.
