Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated

SAP Data Archiving Consultant   to manage the end-to-end information lifecycle for our clients' critical data landscapes. This role is essential for maintaining system performance, ensuring legal compliance, and controlling storage costs by expertly managing the retention, archiving, and eventual destruction of data.

Requirements

Key Skills & Requirements (Mandatory)

Experience :   4+ years of focused consulting or hands-on implementation experience in SAP Data Archiving and Data Volume Management.

SAP Data Archiving :   Mandatory strong, hands-on experience in

SAP Data Archiving (ADK) , including designing, configuring, and executing archiving runs for key SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, SD, MM).

SAP ILM Expertise :   Mandatory in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience implementing

SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM)   for managing data retention policies, legal hold scenarios, and data destruction based on regulatory requirements.

Compliance :   Solid understanding of data retention regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, local Indian laws) and how to map these requirements into the SAP ILM framework.

System Performance :   Proven ability to analyze large SAP databases, identify archiving opportunities, and measure the positive impact of archiving on system and transaction performance.

Technical Integration :   Experience configuring and integrating SAP archiving solutions with external storage systems (e.g., SAP Content Server, ArchiveLink).
