Job descriptionStrong portfolio in lingerie / intimate wear design. Proficiency in design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD tools). Knowledge of fabrics, trims, lingerie construction, and sizing. Ability to manage timelines and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Previous experience in leading range development is preferred.
Job Title : Freelance Designer (Lingerie) – Project Basis
Role Overview :
We are looking for a freelance designer to lead the design and product development process for our lingerie line. This role will be project-based, where the designer will set the creative direction, develop ranges, and guide a junior designer in executing detailed deliverables.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop seasonal range concepts, moodboards, and design direction aligned to brand positioning.
- Create techpacks, CADs, and design specifications for sampling.
- Collaborate with sourcing and vendors for prototyping and sample corrections.
- Oversee fit sessions, guide improvements, and ensure design integrity.
- Mentor and provide direction to the junior designer, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Stay updated on global and local lingerie trends, fabrics, trims, and consumer preferences.
