About the Role

As a Content Specialist , you’ll play a key role in shaping how the world sees us. You’ll be our voice across platforms, creating engaging content, building community, and making our mission resonate with people—whether they're eco-activists, everyday citizens, or corporate donors.

This is a hands-on, creative role ideal for someone who’s excited to build from scratch , experiment, and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and implement a content calendar across Instagram, , X (Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube
• Create engaging posts that highlight tree planting activities, impact stories, field visuals, and environmental days
• Work with field teams to collect photos, videos, and stories from the ground
• Write copy that’s clear, inspiring, and aligned with our voice
• Monitor DMs, comments, and mentions—fostering two-way engagement
• Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, followers, clicks) and suggest improvements
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, and the wider team
• Stay updated on trends in climate, sustainability, and social media

Who You Are

1–3 years of experience in social media content creation, preferably for a nonprofit, sustainability brand, or startup

Strong writing skills with a clear, engaging tone. - Top Requirement

Must be well-versed with CANVA and other editing tools - must be able to edit short and long form videos. - Top Requirement

Comfortable being both creative and data-driven

Passionate about the environment, storytelling, and social impact

Passionate about traveling and meeting new people. Able to engage with stakeholders at the grass-root level.

Self-starter, organised, and excited to grow with an early-stage team

Nice-to-Haves

Experience growing an account from scratch or running successful campaigns

Understanding and Interest of VIral Video Editing Trends

Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Creator Studio, or Hootsuite

Photography or on-ground content capture skills

Interest in community building or partnerships
