Job Summary

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue and maximizing profitability for the hotel by developing and implementing strategic sales plans, cultivating strong client relationships, and securing business across all market segments (e.g., Corporate, Group, MICE / Events, Leisure). This role will focus on achieving and exceeding the hotel's budgeted revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Generation & Sales Strategy

  • Develop and execute an annual sales and marketing plan to achieve budgeted room nights and revenue goals.
  • Identify, prospect, and solicit new business accounts, focusing on high-value corporate, group, and event clients for all hotel revenue centers (rooms, meetings, F&B).
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing opportunities, and gain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and present professional sales proposals and negotiate contracts to ensure maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, travel agents, and event planners to ensure repeat business and loyalty.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, site inspections, entertainment, and client presentations both on and off-property.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring consistent growth in production and client satisfaction.
  • 3. Team & Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing to contribute to the overall sales strategy and budget planning.
  • Coordinate with the Revenue Management team to determine appropriate pricing and inventory strategies to maximize RevPAR.
  • Collaborate with the Operations, Front Office, and Events / Catering teams to ensure seamless service delivery and a flawless guest experience for all booked business.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely sales activity records and client information within the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
  • 4. Reporting & Market Presence

  • Track, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics, forecasting future business trends.
  • Represent the hotel professionally at industry trade shows, networking events, and local community functions.
  • Job Type : Full-time

    Pay : ₹30, ₹100,000.00 per month
