Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English Language and Literature according to CIE syllabus requirements.
- Develop and implement assessment strategies aligned with Cambridge standards.
- Prepare students thoroughly for IGCSE, AS, and A-Level exams.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students.
- Use a variety of teaching methodologies and resources, including digital tools.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
- Participate in curriculum planning, departmental meetings, and professional development.
- Support extracurricular activities such as debating, writing clubs, or literary events.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field.Teaching certification / license and / or Cambridge teaching qualifications preferred.Proven experience teaching Cambridge English Language and Literature syllabus.Strong understanding of CIE exam format, assessment criteria, and standards.Excellent classroom management and communication skills.Ability to engage and motivate international student cohorts.Proficiency in integrating technology into lessons.Preferred Qualifications :
CELTA, DELTA, or equivalent teaching certification.Experience with international or British curricula.Additional skills in educational technology or e-learning platforms.Experience mentoring or training junior teachers.Skills Required
