Manager / Senior Associate Data Engineer (SQL, Python, ETL, Data Quality, Data Governance ) - C2H Role

Role : Manager / Senior Associate Data Engineer to support data engineering and management initiatives. ( SQL, Python , ETL , Data Quality , Data Governance , Data Controls)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience with at least one major data governance enterprise platform (e.g. Collibra, Alation, or Informatica)
• Extensive knowledge and experience with data analysis and enterprise metadata management, especially in the context of Data Lifecycle use cases;
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Use feedback and reflection to develop self-awareness, personal strengths and address development areas.
• Experience deploying data lineage and data flow inventory solutions;
• Demonstrated experience implementing structured data archiving and data lifecycle management activities;
• Background in DCAM or related data governance frameworks;
• Managing teams implementing Data Governance tools with a complex business environment, through requirements gathering, building, testing, and production roll-out;
• Demonstrating experience leading Data Governance projects to define strategy and roadmap, operating model, policies / standards, and tool design and process documents;
• Identifying and addressing client needs and building solid relationships with clients;
• Contributing to project planning, engagement administration, budget management, and the successful
• completion of engagement work streams.
• Collaborating with business development teams responsible for writing and presenting proposals to prospective clients;
• Contributing to business development opportunities and / or engagements from pre-sales and initial scoping
• through final delivery and sign-off; and,
• Demonstrated documentation and presentation skills.
• Understanding of information governance and data lifecycle management, including retention management.
• Strong knowledge and experience with overall data architecture, profiling, quality, metadata management
• etc.; and
• Leading evaluation of new solutions and services, providing a business case on whether the firm should develop skills and vendor relations within new Data Governance solutions and technologies.
• Apply data governance concepts, including :
• Data cataloging (maintaining accurate business and technical metadata).
• Data lineage (tracking data movement and transformations).
• Data stewardship practices (ensuring accountability and ownership of data assets).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
