Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.

Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA to deliver high-quality features.

Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.

Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.

Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines for smooth deployments.

Lead technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements to architecture and processes.

Required Skills

Professional experience in backend development with a focus on Node.js.

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL (preferred).

Hands-on experience with databases : SQL (PostgreSQL / MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB / Redis).

Expertise in microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization / orchestration tools.

Familiarity with AWS / GCP / Azure cloud services.

Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc.).

Experience with CI / CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Good to Have

Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).

Familiarity with Serverless (AWS Lambda, etc.).

Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) for full-stack contributions.

Exposure to Agile / Scrum methodologies.
