What You'll Build
You'll be the technical architect behind the complete voice infrastructure stack, including :
Intelligent IVR Systems
- Conversational AI-powered self-service using modern ASR / NLU / TTS engines
- Integration with Deepgram Nova-2, Claude Sonnet 4, ElevenLabs Turbo
- Dynamic call flow orchestration with 60-80% containment rates
Predictive Dialer Platform
ML-optimized pacing algorithms for maximum agent productivityAdvanced Call Progress Analysis (CPA) with 95%+ accuracyTCPA-compliant outbound calling with real-time abandonment rate controlSIP Trunking & WebRTC Infrastructure
Multi-provider SIP trunk architecture (Twilio, Bandwidth, Telnyx)Session Border Controller (SBC) implementation for security and QoSBrowser-based WebRTC softphones for agentsTLS / SRTP encryption and fraud preventionVoice Quality Optimization
Real-time monitoring dashboards (MOS, latency, jitter, packet loss)Codec negotiation and transcoding (G.711, G.729, Opus)RTCP analysis and quality alerting systemsWhat We're Looking For
Technical Expertise :
Deep knowledge of SIP protocol , RTP / SRTP , and VoIP fundamentalsExperience with WebRTC and real-time communicationsProficiency in Node.js / TypeScript or Go / Rust for high-performance systemsHands-on experience with Twilio, Bandwidth, or similar SIP trunk providersUnderstanding of audio codecs, QoS, and network protocolsContact Center Technologies :
Experience building or implementing IVR systemsKnowledge of predictive / progressive dialers and pacing algorithmsUnderstanding of ASR, NLU, and TTS technologies (Deepgram, AssemblyAI, ElevenLabs)Familiarity with call routing , skills-based distribution, and ACD systemsArchitecture & Scale :
Proven ability to design highly available, fault-tolerant voice systemsExperience with multi-region deployment and redundancy strategiesKnowledge of PostgreSQL / TimescaleDB , Redis , and distributed systemsCloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Compliance & Security :
Understanding of TCPA, FCC regulations , and DNC requirementsExperience implementing TLS / SRTP encryption and security best practicesKnowledge of fraud detection and prevention mechanismsBonus Points
Experience with ML / AI integration for voice analytics and optimizationContributions to open-source telephony projects (FreeSWITCH, Asterisk, Janus)Background in speech analytics , sentiment analysis, or voice biometricsExperience with Homer SIP capture , Prometheus / Grafana , or voice monitoring toolsKnowledge of STIR / SHAKEN and robocall mitigationWhat You'll Get
