Job descriptionReceive requirements for setting up and maintaining product sku's within the forecasting tool Prepare statistical forecasts across the assigned portfolio s in an effort to help maintain a strong baseline forecast Use internal and external intelligence that will help make a prediction of demand for a tactical (1-6 months) and strategic forecast (7-24 rolling months) Establish a weekly process of using exception-based planning reports to adjust forecasts as necessary, holding to the thresholds of RB's Key Performance Indicators. Hold bi-weekly consensus meetings with respective Demand Planner / Jr Demand Planner to address any changes to the statistical models. Use the analytical, marketing, and sales data of an item / customer / brand to effectively estimate future product demands Generate forecast solutions for business partners and help train Demand Planning end users on the system and logic Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities. Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy. Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies
The experience were looking for :
- College Degree in related field
- Deep understanding of statistical algorithms
- Well versed in forecasting systems ( SAP, JDA, Excel, etc)
- A minimum of 1 years experience in a demand planning / forecasting role
