Job descriptionConfigure and maintain the SPPID reference database. Create and manage symbology, filters, reports, and system documentation. Ensure daily backup routines and system integrity. Aid in technical requirements gathering and client meetings. Implement new SPPID builds and project-specific customizations. Troubleshoot and resolve P&ID-related issues. Manage data transfers, MTO downloads, and report generation. Populate data from external sources (e.g., Excel) into SPPID. Develop and enforce auditing requirements. Ensure compliance with client and departmental drafting standards. Conduct user and advanced-level training sessions. Create detailed work instructions and setup documentation. Integrate SPPID with tools like SPF, COMOS, and Excel. Support automation enhancements and evaluate new software versions. Diploma, Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 6–15 years of experience in SPPID administration in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure sectors. In-depth knowledge of SPPID modules (Piping, Equipment, Structure, Electrical, etc.). Strong understanding of relational databases (Oracle / MS SQL) and SmartPlant Foundation. Experience with integration of SPPID with other engineering tools (e.g., SPPID, SPEL, etc.). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
