Job description5+ years AWS engineering / administration. AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional preferred / expected. Proven Okta administration expertise. Infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation). Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS / EKS). Strong networking background (TCP / IP, DNS, VPN). Excellent troubleshooting / documentation skills. Bachelor's degree in CS / IT.
L3 Systems Engineer (Remote)
Experience : 5 to 10 years
Skills : AWS Cloud infra experience + Okta are must.
Overview :
The L3 Systems Engineer role is more engineering-focused than traditional system admin roles. It blends AWS design, implementation, SaaS administration, on-prem oversight, and technical leadership. This role also acts as escalation for L2s and is expected to mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities :
- Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation).
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Commvault, AWS Snapshots).
- Administer SaaS (Okta, AWS Workspaces, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom).
- Monitor observability tools (Datadog, Orion, Nagios, WhatsUp Gold).
- Support Active Directory, hardware lifecycle, Windows / Mac OS.
- Collaborate with DevOps for CI / CD pipelines.
- Provide escalation support, mentor L2 engineers.
- Support in security incident responses ("all hands on deck").
- Balance hands-on work with governance and compliance awareness.
Qualifications :
L3 expected to have certifications.
