Description
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team in India. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, maintaining desktop environments, and ensuring efficient operation of IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end-users for hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Assist in the setup and deployment of new equipment and software installations.
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets and keep records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Respond to support requests in a timely manner and provide excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and solutions.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.2-5 years of experience in desktop support or a similar role.Proficient in Windows and Mac OS operating systems.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications.Experience with remote support tools and techniques.Familiarity with networking concepts and basic troubleshooting of network issues.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with users.Location - Jaipur
