Selection Process :

The vacancies are tentative according to the manpower requirements of the Bank. Selection will be through screening and shortlisting of applications, followed by personal Interview. The date and time of the interview will be advised only to the shortlisted candidates. The Bank reserves the right to modify the manpower requirement at its own discretion. The Bank's decision in this respect shall be final.

The shortlisted candidates shall be called for interview to be conducted in the Bank's Head Office at Mumbai or in New Delhi office. No TA-DA will be paid by the Bank for attending the interviews. Shortlisted candidates will be reimbursed maximum second-class AC fare for travel from their place of stay to the city of interview through the shortest route or its equivalent irrespective of the mode of travel on production of original receipts.

ESSENTIAL ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE Position Compliance Officer - Chief General Manager in Grade / Scale Top Executive VII

Broad Responsibilities

Ensuring conformity with the regulatory provisions applicable to the Bank as a listed entity in letter and spirit.

Co-ordination with and reporting to the Board, recognised stock exchange(s) and depositories with respect to compliance with rules, regulations and other directives of these authorities in manner as specified from time to time.

Ensuring that the correct procedures have been followed that would result in the correctness, authenticity and comprehensiveness of the information, statements and reports filed by the Bank as a listed entity under these regulations.

Monitoring email address of grievance redressal division as designated by the listed entity for the purpose of registering complaints by investors.

Job Specific Skills

Should possess excellent eye for detail, organisational skills, knowledge of legalities, skills for financial analysis, critical thinking, expertise and in depth understanding of regulatory compliances.

Understanding of Government's policies, corporate laws and regulations etc. which are important to the Bank.

Possess excellent presentation / communication - verbal and written skills with analytical insights into banking / economic issues.

Should have strategic leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Educational Qualification

Qualified Company Secretary from ICSI.

Minimum 60% aggregate marks / equivalent Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA) in Graduation.

Number of years of experience

Minimum 25 years of experience, out of which 15 years of post-qualification experience of working as a Company Secretary in a Commercial Bank / Financial Institution or other reputed Corporate.

Age Limit

Maximum 55 years as on May 31, 2025.

As applicable to an officer in Grade / Scale TE VII (Chief General Manager). Presently the pay scale in Grade / Scale TE VII is ₹ 156500-4340-173860 (per month).

Position Chief Economist – On Contract

Broad Responsibilities

Leading a team at Economic Intelligence Unit at the Bank's Corporate Centre, Mumbai.

Providing strategic inputs on macroeconomic and banking developments - India and global to the Top Management of the Bank.

Providing inputs on strategy and policy of the Bank based on macroeconomic developments.

Pivotal role in policy formulation, analysis and communicating to the outside world and has to be well conversant in Banking / financial / investment / economic policy domain.

Periodic analysis & presentation of the business profile of the Bank to its Stakeholders, Media and Public.

Responsible for contributing to the Bank's capability to identify and pursue export promotion strategies through current information services, and analysis through regular reports and specific studies on countries, industries, competitive export credit practices, international trade / fiscal / industries and developments in financial markets in India and abroad.

Job Specific Skills

Should possess expertise and in depth understanding of Domestic & Foreign Economic scenario with special focus on India's international trade and the global trade scenarios, macro-economic indicators, structural changes in the economy.

Understanding of Government's trade policy, economic policies, laws and regulations etc. which plays important role in the growth of the Bank.

Understanding of Econometrics modelling, forecasting and analysis.

Possess excellent presentation / communication - verbal and written skills with analytical insights into banking / economic issues.

Should have strategic leadership skills, strong interpersonal skills and strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Representing the Bank at various fora.

Promoting Exim Bank's citation for enhancing Bank's visibility.

Analysis on potential for trade and investment in sectors / industries.

Providing inputs to GOI and other agencies on trade related issues through reports and interactions.

Educational Qualification

The candidate must be holding a Master's degree in economics from a recognized University. Doctorate degree in Economics / Banking / Finance from a recognized University will be preferable.

Minimum 60% aggregate marks / equivalent Cumulative Grade Points Average (CGPA) in both Graduation and Post Graduation.

Number of years of experience

Minimum 25 years of experience of working as Economist in a Commercial Bank / Financial Institution or other reputed Corporate / Rating Agencies / Organizations.

Publication in leading financial journals / books will be added advantage.

Age Limit

Maximum 55 years as on May 31, 2025.

Nature and term of engagement

Contractual. Three years term with additional two years based on review of performance.

Compensation

₹ 42 lakh per annum with annual increments. The compensation has fixed and variable components in the ratio of 70 : 30.

1. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and should be proficient in the use of computers and information technology.

2. Candidates from Universities / Institutes awarding degrees based on ratings / grades other than numerical marks (i.e. CGPA / GPA / any other form), please note that if the equivalent aggregate percentage of marks is not mentioned in the mark sheet / certificate, candidates are required to furnish a letter from the head of the Institute / Controller of Examination of the University, stating clearly, the methodology of conversion of the grades into percentage (conversion formula) and the numerical marks equivalent to their rating / grades. The university / institute should be recognised / approved by Government / AICTE / UGC. The candidates who have qualified through correspondence courses / Part-Time Courses are not eligible.

3. Depending upon the requirement and suitability of the candidates, the Bank reserves the right to cancel / restrict / curtail / enlarge the recruitment process including the number of vacancies, if need so arises, without any further notice and without assigning any reason therefor.

4. No correspondence will be entertained from any ineligible and non-selected candidate. In all matters regarding eligibility, the selection process, the stages at which the scrutiny of eligibility is to be undertaken, documents to be produced for the selection process, assessment, prescribing minimum qualifying standards in the selection process, number of vacancies, communication of results, etc., the Bank's decision shall be final and binding on the candidates and no correspondence shall be entertained in this regard.
