About the Job Role :
To drive the achievement of top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability for DeHaat by developing strategic sales plans, optimizing product mix, and fostering strong collaborations within the agricultural ecosystem. This role supports sales teams in effectively planning, Inventory management and placing products to meet the specific needs of farmers, implements demand generation activities to enhance the visibility of DeHaat's Private Label Brands, and develops bundling schemes to promote product engagement and maximize market opportunities for our agricultural solutions.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure the achievement of top-line revenue and bottom-line profitability to maximize gross margins.
- Collaborate with all categories, Supply Chain, and extension teams to streamline processes, conduct market intelligence activities, provide pricing support, collect market data, and onboard companies to foster strong business relationships.
- Support sales teams by developing and implementing accurate sales plans, maintaining inventory control to drive revenue growth.
- Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationship vendors, negotiating contracts.
- Implement demand generation activities with a special emphasis on building Private Label brands and Coordinate with the agronomy team to incorporate technical expertise and advisory services into product offerings.
- Involved in purchasing materials constantly seeking ways to reduce costs without compromising on quality.
- Implement strategies to optimize payment schedules and improve working capital efficiency within the category.
- Complaint handling and grievance handling.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in agriculture (B.Sc. / M.Sc.) and MBA in Agri Business Management5+ years of experience in handling categoryDomain Knowledge :
