ABAP Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

Design and develop SAP applications using ABAP on HANA, RAP, and OData services.
Build and expose OData services for Fiori / UI5 applications and external integrations.
Develop CDS views, behavior definitions, and service definitions using RAP.
Optimize and refactor legacy ABAP code for HANA compatibility and performance.
Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and performance tuning.
Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to SAP development standards.
Support SAP upgrades, enhancements, and cloud / on-premise deployments.

Required Skills :

Proficient in ABAP Programming on HANA including Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms (W RICEF objects), and have experience with various development components like User Exits, BAPIs, RFC function modules, IDocs, and Web Services.

Strong experience in ABAP on HANA, including CDS Views, AMDP, and SQL Script.

Hands-on expertise in RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).

Proficient in OData service development and integration.

Experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 and SAP Gateway.

Solid understanding of SAP S / 4HANA architecture and data models.

Familiarity with SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP Business Application Studio is a plus.

Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.

Understanding of core SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI / CO and PS) and their interrelationships.

Preferred Qualifications :

SAP Certified Development Associate ABAP with SAP HANA.

Location : Work from the Office at Gurgaon (Mandatory)
