ACL Digital - Lead Software Development Engineer - Test

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Lead SDET to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will take ownership of end-to-end testing processes including test planning, automation strategy, execution, and delivery. You'll lead a team of SDETs and collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high product quality and seamless releases in CI / CD environments.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze requirements and collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand and refine testable user stories.
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, integration, and system-level testing.
• Own and drive API testing strategies using tools like Postman, Swagger, and REST Assured.
• Lead the implementation of automation frameworks using Python, Pytest, Robot Framework, and maintain scalable test automation suites.
• Integrate automated tests into CI / CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Manage test documentation and progress tracking using tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Troubleshoot and debug test failures, identify root causes, and work with developers for resolution.
• Mentor junior SDETs and guide them in automation best practices and scripting.
• Ensure consistent testing standards and practices across the team.
• Collaborate on product releases, ensuring smooth QA handoffs and deployments.
• Participate in performance and security testing efforts when needed.
