Key Responsibilities :

  • Operational Risk Framework Development :
  • Design and implement comprehensive operational risk frameworks including policies and governance structures.
  • Develop and maintain Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) frameworks.
  • Risk and Control Analysis :
  • Conduct thorough risk identification from processes and evaluate their respective controls.
  • Assess the design and effectiveness of existing controls, focusing on inherent risks, control assessments, and residual risk.
  • Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) Management :
  • Identify and establish KRIs, and design appropriate thresholds to manage operational risks effectively.
  • Monitor, report, and analyze KRIs to ensure alignment with the organization's risk appetite.
  • Regulatory Compliance :
  • Stay informed about regulatory requirements applicable to banks and financial institutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, ensuring organizational adherence to governance standards.
  • Operational Loss Incident Management :
  • Develop and enhance operational loss incident management frameworks.
  • Analyze operational risk incidents and monitor external incidents for potential impact on the organization.

Qualifications :

  • CA, CWA, or MBA with 3 to 7 years of experience in operational risk management in the banking or financial services sector.
  • In-depth understanding of operational risk management principles, including risk identification, control assessment, and residual risk analysis.
  • Strong experience in developing and implementing risk frameworks and KRIs.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements specific to banking and financial services.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
