Senior Accountant

We are currently supporting a fast-growing U.S.-headquartered security software company in their search for a Senior Accountant . This is a remote role based in India , offering exposure to global finance operations and the opportunity to contribute directly to the company’s growth in a high-paced technology environment.

The Senior Accountant will report to the Assistant Controller and play a key role in strengthening financial processes, ensuring compliance, and driving efficiencies within the accounting function.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the Assistant Controller to develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls.
• Oversee core accounting operations, including treasury, AP, AR, payroll, credit cards, and fixed assets .
• Manage customer and vendor communications regarding account queries, payments, and outstanding balances.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting .
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports and financial analyses for management, investors, and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment, ensuring strong cross-functional communication.
• Leverage tools such as Excel, QuickBooks, Bill.com, Maxio, Navan, and Avalara to manage financial operations.
