with expertise in the
IT industry
- . The primary responsibility will be to identify suitable IT projects on Upwork, submit winning bids, and write tailored proposals that effectively convert leads into clients. The bidder will manage the entire bid cycle, collaborate with technical teams, and maintain ongoing prospect engagement throughout the business development process
Key Responsibilities
Research, identify, and bid on high-value IT projects on Upwork.Write persuasive, client-specific proposals that showcase company expertise in IT domains (Automation, AI Agents, AI Chatbots, web development, mobile apps, digital solutions).Communicate professionally and promptly with prospects via Upwork's messaging tools.Maintain records of bids, responses, and conversions; analyze bidding performance to improve success rates.Achieve monthly / quarterly targets for business acquisition on Upwork.Collaborate with internal delivery and development teams for proposal feasibility and accuracy.Research and identify high-potential IT and AI automation projects on Upwork.Maintain CRMQualifications
Minimum 2 years of Upwork bidding and proposal writing experience, specifically for IT projects.Proven track record of winning projects and managing prospect relationships on Upwork.Familiarity with AI, automation, and emerging IT trends is a plus.Ability to adapt proposal tone for startups, SMEs, and enterprise clients.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.Knowledge of IT services and ability to understand technical project briefs.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility to communicate and manage bids across different time zones.
