Investment Banking Associate

Key Responsibilities :

Preparation of necessary pitch books & presenting to clients, developing the positioning; building deal thesis

Building relationships with key players and decision makers in the sector

Tracking key developments in the Sector & Target Companies

Interaction with Research / IBD Product / Sales teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions

Responsible to overview the due diligence, analysis and documentation of live transactions

Maintain databases and case studies of transactions in the relevant sector / product

Relevant Skills, Knowledge and Experience :

Capital Market deal experience - from pitch till execution

Sector : Real Estate / Hospitality; BFSI

Ability to work on PE / M&A transactions

Self-driven with ability to work long hours under tight deadlines with very high attention to detail

Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events

Well versed with key Financial and Analytical skills, Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Familiarity with Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters

Organize work, manage multiple projects, coordinate with different people, meet deadlines

Experience :

The candidate must have 3-5 years of relevant experience in IB - Coverage. Awareness about the Indian capital markets and strong experience in financial modeling, preparation of deal collaterals and pitchbook.

Qualification :

MBA in Finance, additional CA / CFA is a plus
