Co-founder & Head of Engineering (Tech Lead)
1. Role Overview
A technical co-founder who will architect, develop and drive our core product. You’ll lead the full-stack development lifecycle—designing frontend interfaces in React JS, building scalable APIs with Laravel / Lumen, and managing data persistence in MySQL—while collaborating closely on product strategy and go-to-market.
2. Key Responsibilities
Product Architecture & Development
Design and implement the overall application architecture.
Build interactive, performant UIs in React JS (hooks, state management, routing).
Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Laravel and Lumen.
Model, optimize and secure relational schemas in MySQL.
You will lead, collaborate and
co-define product roadmap, feature prioritization and sprint planning.
Mentor and grow a small dev team; conduct code reviews and pair programming.
Work alongside design, marketing and operations to ensure seamless delivery.
Quality, Security & DevOps
Establish CI / CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
Implement application monitoring, logging and ongoing performance tuning.
Enforce security best practices : input validation, authentication / authorization, encryption.
Customer Feedback & Iteration
Engage with early users to gather feedback and rapidly iterate features.
Analyse usage data to inform UX improvements and technical optimizations.
