Sales Strategy Development : Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets for cloud solutions and services.
Prospecting : Identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Customer Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and prospective customers to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for cloud solutions.
Solution Presentation : Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase cloud services and demonstrate how they address customer requirements and pain points.
Proposal Creation : Prepare and present tailored sales proposals, including pricing, deliverables, and implementation plans to clients.
Negotiation : Lead negotiation discussions with clients, addressing concerns, managing expectations, and closing sales.
Collaboration : Work closely with the technical and pre-sales teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and met.
Market Research : Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in the cloud space to effectively position products and differentiate offerings.
Sales Reporting : Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline management using CRM software, and report on sales performance and progress to management.
Customer Follow-up : Provide ongoing support and maintain relationships with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience : 5 to 8 + years of experience in sales, in cloud services.
Technical Knowledge : Understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and familiarity with Private Cloud and public cloud business.
Skills :
Proven sales track record and ability to meet or exceed targets.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement.
Certifications : Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified : Azure Fundamentals) can be beneficial but are not always required.
