SAP Security Consultant

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled SAP Security Consultant with 4 to 10 years of experience in SAP security, role management, and authorization troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing and managing SAP security roles, ensuring robust authorization controls, and supporting global SAP security projects.

You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide secure and compliant SAP access Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP security roles based on business requirements and best practices.
• Manage role creation, role maintenance, and updates including bug fixes and enhancements.
• Perform user administration activities using SAP standard transaction codes, Central User Administration (CUA), Central User Provisioning (CUP), Access Request Management (ARM), or Identity Management (IDM) tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve authorization issues to ensure smooth business operations.
• Apply knowledge of SAP application security and role-based access control models to protect sensitive business data.
• Understand clients business engagement and tailor SAP security solutions accordingly.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to communicate client expectations and deliver security solutions that meet compliance and governance standards.
• Participate as an active member of global SAP security teams and projects.
• Implement SAP security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Provide training and support to end-users on SAP security processes and role management.
• Ensure compliance with corporate security policies and audit Skills and Qualifications :
• 4 to 10 years of experience in SAP security, role management, and authorization troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of SAP security concepts including role-based access control (RBAC), segregation of duties (SoD), and user access management.
• Hands-on experience with user administration using SAP standard tcodes and tools such as CUA, CUP, ARM, or IDM.
• Experience designing, creating, and maintaining SAP security roles and profiles.
• Good troubleshooting skills for resolving authorization and security issues.
• Understanding of SAP application security implementation methodologies and common security threats.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global project environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and expectation management.
• Experience working in global SAP security projects and cross-functional teams
