Lead Infrastructure DB Admin

Job description5+ years of experience managing software in IT systems. Good understanding of databases like Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Familiar with IT terms like servers, cloud, networks, and virtual machines. Hands-on with tools like ServiceNow SAM , Coupa , or FlexeraOne . Know how to read and manage software licenses from companies like IBM, Microsoft, or Oracle. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Bonus if you know about open-source databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Key Responsibilities (Simplified) :
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with business users, IT teams, and vendors to manage software needs and usage.
- Software Tracking : Keep track of all software used in the company—from purchase to removal.
- License Management : Check how many software licenses are used, unused, or expired. Make sure everything matches what the company has bought.
- Database Oversight : Monitor where software is installed and make sure it follows company and vendor rules.
