About the Company : Our client company is a leading global manufacturer in the chemical and packaging sector, specializing in sustainable solutions that support industries worldwide.

Job Summary : The client company is expanding its rPET (recycled PET) value chain operations in India. To support the accounting and compliance operations of its new rPET trading entity, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Specialist to join the team in Kolkata.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting, invoicing, and compliance , with hands-on experience in SAP ERP and stakeholder management .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and invoicing operations in SAP.
• Ensure timely billing, customer invoicing , and coordination with manufacturing units and customers.
• Handle vendor payments, bank reconciliations , and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements and support finalization of books of accounts .
• Ensure statutory compliance with GST, TDS, and other local regulations.
• Support statutory and tax audits , coordinating with internal teams and external auditors.
• Assist in MIS reporting, reconciliations , and maintaining documentation for all trading transactions.
• Coordinate with Finance, Commercial, and Tax teams for compliance and reporting requirements.
