Job description

THIS IS A LONG-TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADERS.

Location : Pune (Hybrid) – (Once a week in office)

Shift : General (IST Hours)

Experience : 5–7 years overall experience

Primary Skills : JavaScript, TypeScript, React

Secondary Skills : Angular.js, Splunk, Cypress

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Software Developer with 5–7 years of experience in modern web application development using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React . The ideal candidate should have exposure to complex, large-scale applications and the ability to onboard quickly in a fast-paced, agile setup.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5–7 years of overall experience in frontend software development .
  • Hands-on experience in React and TypeScript for at least 3+ years.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments .

Responsibilities

  • Participate in software design discussions and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.
  • Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and applications.
  • Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business needs.
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype, refine, test, and debug features.
  • Perform routine development tasks under supervision with opportunities for independent technical ownership.
  • Serve as a technical contributor on development projects and participate in full SDLC , including requirements analysis, design, and implementation.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend new technologies for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
