Position Title :

SAP Functional Consultant – O2C & Indirect Sales

Location : Zoetis ICC, Hyderabad

Primary Purpose

The SAP Functional Consultant – O2C & Indirect Sales will be responsible for delivering high-quality SAP solutions in the Order to Cash (O2C) and Indirect Sales domains. The role involves gathering business requirements, designing scalable solutions, driving configuration and enhancements, and ensuring seamless system integration across SAP and non-SAP systems. The consultant will support implementation, rollout, and continuous improvement initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders : Understand business processes, gather requirements, and propose SAP best practice solutions for O2C and Indirect Sales processes.
  • SAP Solution Architecture : Act as internal design architect for SAP global solutions and lead technical documentation including design specs, user guides, and release notes.
  • Implementation and Enhancements : Deliver, prototype, test, and deploy new functionality and process improvements across SAP ECC / S4HANA platforms.
  • Integration & WRICEF Development : Ensure efficient cross-functional integration and develop or support WRICEF objects to align system behavior with business needs.
  • Continuous Improvement : Perform performance tuning and reengineering of integrations to optimize system performance and reduce latency.

Organizational Relationships

  • Collaborate with business users and functional leads for requirement gathering and solution validation.
  • Work with developers and implementation partners to support technical delivery and configuration.
  • Engage external vendors and third-party systems for integration with SAP (e.g., Hybris, Vistex).
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and quality teams to align deliverables with strategic goals.

    • Education and Experience

    Education :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • Experience :

  • 8+ years of SAP O2C experience with full life cycle implementations.
  • Expertise in Indirect Sales, Order Management, and integration with planning / logistics.
  • Deep understanding of SAP ECC and S / 4HANA transformations.
  • Prior experience in life sciences / pharmaceuticals industry preferred.
  • Exposure to international projects, global delivery models, and cross-functional SAP landscapes.

    • Technical Skills Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with :
  • SAP ECC 6.0 and S / 4HANA – SD, CS, and O2C-related modules
  • Indirect Sales, E-commerce platform integrations (e.g., Hybris)
  • GATP, Demand Planning, CRM / SAP integration
  • Pricing, Vistex, and global taxation frameworks
  • RRB (Resource-Related Billing), Periodic / Milestone Billing
  • Customer Leasing and Finance Integration
  • Good understanding of :
  • Master Data Management, Serial Profile & Batch Management
  • Billing, Accounts Receivable, and integration with external financial systems
  • Service Management (Notifications, Orders)
  • Experience in working with :
  • SAP user exits, ABAP debugging, guiding development teams
  • Data and process performance tuning
  • Document archiving (OpenText or equivalent)

    • Physical Position Requirements

  • Working Hours : 3 : 00 PM – 12 : 00 AM EST (ICC Second Shift)
  • Flexibility : Additional EST time zone overlap may be required during production go-lives or project cutovers.
  • Travel : Minimal, based on project needs
