Role Overview
The AVP / VP Sales - Airlines will lead the airline vertical, driving business growth, revenue, and partnerships with global and domestic carriers. The role will also closely collaborate with Product Development and Design teams to create innovative, customer-centric inflight products that align with evolving airline requirements and passenger expectations. You will be the face of Kimirica to our airline clients, ensuring seamless service, strong engagement, and continuous business growth.
Key Responsibilities : -
1. Sales & Business Development :
- Lead the airline sales function with ownership of P&L, revenue growth, and long-term strategic partnerships.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across global and regional airlines.
- Drive contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and key account management for top airline clients.
- Build strong CXO-level relationships within airlines to position the company as a preferred partner.
2. Product Development & Inflight Product Design
Partner with Product Development and R&D teams to conceptualize and design innovative inflight products aligned with brand and airline requirements (F&B, amenities, luxury kits, sustainability-focused products).Translate airline and passenger insights into product innovation, ensuring differentiation and premium positioning.Lead co-creation projects with airlines for exclusive, tailor-made inflight offerings enhancing passenger comfort.Stay ahead of global trends in inflight services, luxury design, and sustainability to ensure competitive advantage.Strategic Partnership & Collaboration : Drive , working closely for the in- flight team, enhancing passenger comfort, driving insights.3. Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the 3–5 year growth roadmap for the airline vertical.Represent the company at global trade shows, industry forums, and strategic client reviews.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, R&D) to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.Build and lead a high-performing sales team focused on innovation, execution, and customer-centricity.Qualifications & Experience
10-15 years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 7–10 years in the airline or inflight services sector (amenities, luxury, F&B travel retail, or related industries).Strong track record in developing and closing high-value airline partnerships.Deep understanding of inflight product design, passenger experience trends, and airline procurement processes.Proven ability to collaborate with product / R&D / design teams to bring new concepts to market.Global exposure and comfort with multicultural clients and teams.Preferably from :

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
MBA or equivalent is a plus
