We are looking for an experienced WLAN Developer with a strong background in wireless networking, embedded systems, and C / C++ development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the RDK framework, Linux networking, and Wi-Fi technologies, and will be responsible for developing, porting, and optimizing WLAN features on embedded platforms.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, port, and maintain software components on the RDK framework for WLAN modules.
- Work on integration and optimization of Wi-Fi features for embedded platforms.
- Develop and debug network programming modules on Linux using TCP, UDP, NAT, VLAN, etc.
- Implement and maintain Wi-Fi security protocols including WPA2, 802.11i, 802.1X, and VPN technologies like IPSec, L2TP.
- Work with various IEEE 802.11 standards (802.11a / b / g / n / ax / be).
- Implement and optimize rate adaptation algorithms, Wi-Fi Direct, HostAPD, WPA Supplicant, and Wi-Fi Aware features.
- Develop embedded software using platforms such as RDK, OpenWrt, or prplWrt.
- Interact with Qualcomm SDKs or similar SoC platforms for hardware-level programming.
- Develop automation and debugging tools using Linux shell scripting to improve system efficiency and testing coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, QA, and product teams for delivering stable WLAN functionality.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and performance tuning activities.
